Joseph Hieu Dinh is a leading Master of Ceremonies (MC) and media personality within Sydney South West and internationally. Having a law background, he is also a writer, producer, song-writer, voice-over artist, and renown community cultural arts facilitator.

 

As writer, his short story 'The Lustrous Rains of Almond' won the 2003 Patrick J. Keegan Authorship Award. 

As voice-over artist, Joseph regularly features in advertisements for Instant Scratchies, Transport for NSW, Hepatitis Australian and Tomorrow's Sydney. 

 

With an extensive record of community and charity work across Australia, in 2009 the Federal Vietnamese Community in Australia awarded him "Australian Vietnamese of the Year". He was also nominated the Bankstown Local Government Australia Day Award for Citizen of the Year 2009.

 

Joseph has initiated and has been involved with many community cultural development projects with particular focus in strengthening intergenerational relationships. He was involved in digital storytelling projects 'Vietnamese Stories' and 'Vietnamese Storycubes" (2009). He has been invited guest lecturer at Australian National University (Canberra) and University of California Riverside (USA).

 

Joseph has been twice nominated 'Best MC' at the Australian Bridal Industry Awards for 2012 & 2013.
